Addy's birthday pinafore

I'm sewing Addy's birthday outfit, adapting a pattern (Butterick 5110). I ran into a problem! I was wondering about Addy's pinafore. Is the back also shaped into an "H?" Putting this together in that type of shape and having it tie at the top looks challenging, but I'd like to try to do this as close to the original as possible, and was wondering about the back. I looked in the catalog, online, and in the book and was unable to find information about the back. Thanks for your help! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I ended up making the "cross-bar" (I don't know the name for it forums

) only in the front, not in the back. If anyone wants to make the outfit, let me know. It's pretty easy to adapt the pattern; the snood is just a simple crochet in a circle shape that I made out of yarn (doing double-crochet) and a ribbon. Unfortunately, I couldn't find brown ricrac, though, so I had to use cream.
